Paresh Rawal Clears Rumours About Quitting Hera Pheri 3
Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has addressed speculations about leaving Hera Pheri 3. Many reports suggested he exited due to creative differences with director Priyadarshan. However, Paresh clarified on X (formerly Twitter) that this was not true.
He wrote, “I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER . I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director.”

Fans Demand Paresh Rawal ’s Return as Babu Rao
As soon as he confirmed his exit, social media was flooded with emotional reactions. Fans expressed their sadness and confusion.
One fan asked, “You don’t want to get stuck in the Babu Bhaiya image again?” Another wrote, “Without Babu Rao, the film is pointless. Please rethink your decision.”
Many suggested cancelling the film altogether if the original trio—Raju, Shyam, and Babu Rao—isn’t present.
Hera Pheri: A Legendary Comedy Franchise
The Hera Pheri franchise is one of Bollywood’s most loved comedy series.
The first film, Hera Pheri (2000), directed by Priyadarshan, starred Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal.
Paresh’s character Baburao Ganpatrao Apte became a fan favourite.
The second film, Phir Hera Pheri (2006), though not as critically praised, gained cult status.

Paresh Rawal is not completely done working with Priyadarshan. He will soon be seen in their upcoming project Bhooth Bangla, a horror-comedy that also stars Akshay Kumar and Tabu. It is set for a 2026 release.
