Poonam Pandey to Play Mandodari in Luv-Kush Ramlila, Arya Babbar as Ravana

After being away from showbiz for a long time, actress Poonam Pandey is making her comeback—but not on the silver screen. Instead, she will be seen in Delhi’s Luv-Kush Ramlila, one of the grandest cultural events held at the Red Fort grounds.

Mandodari role for Poonam Pandey

Poonam will be stepping into the role of Mandodari, wife of Ravana. Expressing her joy, she shared that this opportunity is both an honor and a responsibility. She also extended heartfelt gratitude to the Ramlila Committee for trusting her with such a significant character.

Arya Babbar as Ravana

Actor Arya Babbar has been roped in to play Ravana in the same Ramlila. Interestingly, Arya had earlier portrayed this mythological role in the TV show Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman back in 2015. His return as Ravana on such a huge stage has left fans curious to see his powerful performance once again.

On the professional front, Poonam Pandey was last seen in the web series Honeymoon Suite Room No. 911 and the reality show Lockup. She began her Bollywood journey in 2013 with the film Nasha. Although her film career didn’t flourish as expected, she stayed in the limelight through her YouTube channel, app, and bold public image.
