After wrapping up Salaar: Part 1 with Prashanth Neel and Kalki 2898 AD with Nag Ashwin, Prabhas is gearing up for another major project. On Saturday, his upcoming film with director Hanu Raghavapudi was officially launched with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad.

Launch of Prabhas' New Film

While the title of the film hasn’t been officially confirmed, it’s rumored to be called Fauji. The production house, Mythri Movie Makers, shared photos from the launch event on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

The film will feature Prabhas alongside dancer Imanvi and veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada. Prashanth Neel also attended the event to extend his best wishes to Prabhas.

Fan Excitement at the Launch

Fans gathered in large numbers outside Mythri Movie Makers' office, hoping to catch a glimpse of Prabhas. A video shared on X shows fans cheering “Rebel Star Prabhas Hanu” as his SUV left the venue. The launch event was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers, and the film’s script was placed before an idol of Ganesha during the pooja ceremony.

Film’s Synopsis Revealed

The film is set in the 1940s and is described as historical fiction or alternate history. The official synopsis hints at a powerful story of a warrior who emerges from the shadows to seek justice for the people of his motherland. The tale explores buried injustices and forgotten truths that history has kept hidden.

Prabhas Work Front

Prabhas has a busy schedule ahead. He will make a cameo appearance in Vishnu Manchu’s upcoming film Kannappa, which also stars Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, and Kajal Aggarwal. He is also shooting for a horror comedy titled The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi, which features Nidhhi Agerwal and Malavika Mohanan. This film is slated for release on April 10 next year.

Additionally, Prabhas will soon start shooting for the sequel of Salaar, with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and other cast members reprising their roles.
