TV actor Raja Chaudhary, ex-husband of actress Shweta Tiwari and father of Palak Tiwari, recently opened up about his personal and professional struggles. He admitted how alcohol addiction deeply affected his career and family life.

Alcohol Addiction Destroyed Raja Chaudhary 's Family Life

Raja was once a well-known face in the TV and film world. He started his career in 2001 with the show Kahin Kisi Roz and appeared in several shows and movies after that. But over time, personal problems took over. After marrying Shweta Tiwari in 1998 and having a daughter, things started going downhill.

Their relationship turned bitter, and they divorced after 9 years. Post-divorce, Shweta accused Raja of domestic violence and cheating. During this time, Raja became addicted to alcohol, which further ruined his career and personal life.

Pickleball Helped Him Recover from Addiction

In a recent interview, Raja said, "I got addicted to alcohol while dealing with my personal issues. Everything was falling apart, but with my family's support and by playing pickleball, I overcame the addiction. I've been sober for the past few years."

He also shared how people had a wrong image of him due to the past incidents, which badly impacted his career.

Shweta Tiwari’s Allegations Affected His Image

After their divorce, Shweta made serious allegations against Raja, saying he used to beat her and was unfaithful. Raja never responded publicly at the time, but these controversies damaged his reputation and work life.

Raja Chaudhary’s Comeback on TV

Now, Raja is returning to television. He will soon be seen in the role of Choudappa Raya in SAB TV’s show Tenali Rama. Raja hopes this comeback will help him build a better image and reconnect with his audience.
