Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram Welcome Baby Girl, Share Emotional Instagram Post

Actor Randeep Hooda and his wife, actor entrepreneur Lin Laishram, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl.

The couple announced the birth through a collaborative post on their respective Instagram accounts on Tuesday.

The first image shared in the post showed Hooda’s father holding the newborn, followed by a close up photograph of the baby’s hand. The child was born on the same day as Hooda’s father.

"Happy birthday to grandfather and granddaughter. Today, as I become a father, my appreciation for you has only grown deeper, Papa. And most importantly - Lin, thank you for making me a father and for bringing our little girl into this world. A little girl, and a lifetime of love," read the caption.

Hooda, known for films such as Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Rang Rasiya, Highway and Sarbjit, had been in a relationship with Laishram for several years before making it public on Instagram in 2022.

The couple married in 2023 at Chumthang Sanapung in Imphal. The ceremony followed traditional Meitei rituals.

The wedding included a ritual in which the bride circled the seated groom seven times. The couple also exchanged floral garlands made of jasmine flowers known locally as kundo.

Hooda was last seen in the film Jaat. Laishram last appeared in Jaane Jaan alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan.
