Court's Directions to Saif Ali Khan
Justice Vivek Agarwal advised Khan to file a representation with the tribunal within 30 days under the amended Enemy Property Act, 2017. The court clarified that if the appeal was submitted on time, the tribunal would assess the matter based on its merits, overlooking any limitation issues.
As of now, it remains unclear if Khan has filed his appeal. Bhopal Collector Kaushlendra Singh stated that the administration will study the court’s order before taking further steps.
This legal battle places a significant spotlight on the historical properties of the Pataudi family and their uncertain future.
