Samarth Jurel looks unrecognisable in Kandhaar poster, actor to play the lead in his new project

Samarth Jurel never fails to impress audiences with her acting skills. The actor has now revealed that he will soon be seen in a web series titled Kandhaar. Recently, Samarth released his first look from the show and left his fans super excited. In the poster, he was seen in his intense avatar with long hair and kholed eyes. Samarth's expressions also speak volumes of his acting skills.

While not a lot is known about Samarth's character as of now, we know that he will be playing the powerful role of Masood Afgani in the show.

Directed by Shahid Kazmi, Kandhaar's shoot is currently underway in Kashmir. Later, the team will also travel to Kargil for another shoot schedule of the show. Besides Samarth, the show will also star Ishita Raj. Her first look from the series was recently at IFFI Goa 2024.

Samarth Jurel is known for shows like Udaariyaan. He was last seen in Bigg Boss 17. He will soon also be seen in a mythological web series Buddh Dev. The show will have 22 episodes and will soon premiere on 'Hari Om' application.

Recently, Samarth talked about playing the role of Buddh Dev in the show when he said, "Buddhadev refers to the planet Mercury. This project explores how the planet was formed, focusing on Buddhadev's life, his birth, and his parents—Brihaspati Dev and Chandra Dev. It delves into his journey of gaining knowledge and the importance of planets like Buddha in maintaining the stability of the solar system. The story also highlights his love story and deep affection for his mother."
