Jewellery expert Laura Taylor described the design as “exquisite and timeless.” The marquise cut, known for its elongated shape, not only enhances the brilliance of the diamond but also creates an elegant, finger-lengthening effect.

Interestingly, the marquise cut has royal origins, dating back to 18th-century France, when King Louis XV commissioned the design to resemble the smile of his mistress, the Marquise de Pompadour.

Taylor noted that the diamond likely has VVS1 clarity and is graded as colourless in the D-F range, adding to its premium value.
