Shah Rukh Khan continues to express his enthusiasm for Dunki, his inaugural collaboration with director Rajkumar Hirani, and fans are thoroughly enjoying the updates. The actor recently conducted an Ask SRK session on Saturday via his platform X (previously known as Twitter), where he was inundated with questions about Dunki. Just like his eager fans awaiting the film's release, Shah Rukh Khan is equally eager.

During the session, a fan inquired about what intrigued Shah Rukh Khan the most about Dunki.
Writing on X, the fan asked, "How much did you know about this #Dunki thing before doing this film and what fascinated you most about this project."
Shah Rukh responded, "Actually hardly anything. Raju and Abhijaat brought it to my knowledge. It's fascinating....dangerous and quite an overwhelming experience to have learnt about it and portray parts of it."

In response to another fan's query about what aspect of Dunki Shah Rukh Khan is most excited for the audience to see – the story, emotions, or the comedy – the actor shared his anticipation.
The fan asked, "The story, the emotions or the comedy - what aspect of Dunki are you most excited for the audience to see?"
Shah Rukh replied, "It's very funny and then extremely emotional....Rajkumar Hirani brand of cinema. Dunki."

Khan revealed that initially, when approached for "Munnabhai MBBS," he had reservations about working with a new director. He thought of delaying the project by suggesting they start after 6-8 months, assuming the director would agree. However, when he proposed this, Rajkumar Hirani walked away. The same scenario unfolded with "3 Idiots."
Reflecting on these missed opportunities, Shah Rukh Khan decided not to take any chances when Hirani approached him with "Dunki." Khan humorously mentioned how he strategically caught him in the Covid-19 bubble, insisting that Hirani not walk away this time.
