Veer-Zaara and Pardes: SRK Classics Back on the Big Screen

Shah Rukh Khan fans are in for a treat as two of his iconic films, Pardes (1997) and Veer-Zaara (2004), are set to return to theatres.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Veer-Zaara will hit the screens on September 13, initially with selected shows, which may increase based on demand. Pardes is also expected to re-release, eyeing a date on either September 20 or 27, with an official announcement pending.

More Nostalgia: Taal and Tezaab

Subhash Ghai's Pardes won't be the only classic making a comeback. His other film, Taal (1999), starring Akshaye Khanna, Anil Kapoor, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, will also return to theatres on September 20.

Fans of Madhuri Dixit can look forward to the possibility of seeing her iconic dance in Tezaab again, as Zee Studios is considering a re-release of this 1988 hit in the latter half of September.

Tumbbad and Other Re-Releases Align with Ganpati Celebrations

The critically acclaimed Tumbbad, which was initially set for an August 30 re-release, has now been rescheduled for September 13, coinciding with Ganpati celebrations.

This timing aims to maximize audience turnout, with re-releases proving commercially successful, as seen with the recent Laila Majnu.

Fresh Releases to Look Out For

In addition to these nostalgic re-releases, cinema-goers can look forward to fresh films like Stree 2, Vedaa, and Khel Khel Mein hitting theatres soon.

Meanwhile, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein and both parts of Gangs of Wasseypur continue to entertain audiences.

This September, theatres are set to become a time machine, transporting audiences back to the golden era of Bollywood with a mix of classic re-releases and exciting new films.
