In a candid interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shama revealed how a 'superstar' actor changed the scene during an ad shoot and tried to touch her inappropriately.
Actor Improvised Scene to Hug Her
While recalling the incident, Shama shared, “Hugging was never a part of the original shoot. However, I sensed that for some reason, the actor wanted to hug me. You can feel the vibe during such situations. He improvised on set, saying he would place jewellery around his wife’s (played by Shama) neck and then turn her around for a hug."
Uncomfortable and Shocking Experience
Shama Sikander expressed how uncomfortable she felt during the improvised scene. “When he hugged and touched me, it made me feel extremely uneasy. I had never experienced such discomfort before, even though I had worked with many actors. It was shocking and strange to me. This person is a superstar; why would he need to do something like this?”
Sikander's Stand Against Misconduct in the Industry
Shama Sikander made it clear that this was the first time she met this actor, and she has decided never to work with him again. She also emphasized that while incidents like this are unfortunately common in the industry, they should not be accepted as normal.
