Spirit: Prabhas Teams Up with Sandeep Reddy Vanga for a New Cop Drama

Telugu superstar Prabhas is all set to start work on his next big film titled 'Spirit', directed by Arjun Reddy and Animal fame Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film is currently in the scripting stage and is expected to begin shooting around September or October 2025.

Fresh Take on the Cop Genre

According to reports, Spirit will bring a fresh twist to the typical cop drama. The story will focus on the classic battle between a hero and a villain. Sandeep Reddy Vanga has spent over six months developing the story into a powerful screenplay.

Prabhas to Do His Own Stunts

Sources reveal that the director has asked Prabhas to maintain a fit and lean look so that he can perform most of the action stunts himself. This will add more realism and excitement to the film.

International Casting in Progress

Interestingly, the makers are also planning to cast actors from the US and South Korea. The team is still finalizing the cast and crew, and more updates are expected soon.

Music Collaboration Already Started

Last year, Sandeep confirmed that he has already begun working on the film’s music with composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar, who has previously worked with him on Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, and Animal.

Spirit is expected to hit theatres in 2027 and is already one of the most talked-about films in Indian cinema.
