Pan-Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia recently shared her perspective on the evolving opportunities and acceptance for female actors in the film industry, noting how significantly it has grown in recent years. Expressing excitement about her upcoming projects and acknowledging the shift in how actresses are perceived, Tamannaah said, “I’m really excited for all my films to release one by one. It’s very interesting not many actors, especially female actors, get this sort of opportunity. It has been 21 years into my career, and I still feel like I’m starting all over again.”

She also spoke about the warmth and acceptance she continues to receive from the South Indian film industry. “There’s a sense of freshness, even for me as an actor. And I think the audience has been incredibly warm towards me and has truly embraced me. While I’ve always received immense acceptance in the Southern part of India, the kind of love I’m now getting from all other parts of the country is what’s truly exciting and humbling. I’m constantly finding ways to give it back,” she shared.

With each project showcasing a bold and distinct choice, Tamannaah continues to explore new territory with Deepika Mishra and Arunabh Kumar’s Vvan: Force of the Forest. Produced by Ektaa Kapoor, the film also stars Sidharth Malhotra. Billed as an adventure thriller, it is slated for a theatrical release on August 28.
