Telangana Assembly Elections 2023: Mahesh Babu casts his Vote in Hyderabad
Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu arrived at Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, to participate in the ongoing Telangana Assembly elections on Thursday. Wearing a blue shirt, the actor cast his vote and shared a picture on Instagram with his wife Namrata, urging everyone to cast their votes with the caption, "Cast your vote! We just did! #EveryVoteMatters."

The polling, which commenced at 7 am, covers all 119 Assembly constituencies in Telangana and will conclude at 6 pm. A total of 2,290 candidates from 109 national and regional parties, including 221 women and one transgender candidate, are in contention for the votes of 3.17 crore citizens.
This election sees 103 legislators re-contesting, predominantly from the ruling Bharat Rasthra Samithi (BRS). Voting is taking place at 35,655 polling stations across the state.
For the first time in Telangana, a home voting facility has been extended to individuals with disabilities and those aged above 80. Approximately 27,600 voters utilized this service, along with 1,000 others who registered for the Electronically Transmitted Postal Ballot System.
In a recent promotional event in Hyderabad, Mahesh Babu joined the cast of the film 'Animal' and showered praises on Ranbir Kapoor, hailing him as the "best actor in India."
Mahesh Babu stated during the event, "I have told him this before also when I met him but I don't think he took me seriously. So today, on this stage, I'm saying that I'm a huge Ranbir Kapoor fan and in my opinion, he is the best actor in India."
