Thandel Box Office Day 1: Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s latest film, Thandel, hit theaters on February 7 and has received a great response from the audience. According to reports from Sacnilk, the movie earned ₹10 crore on its opening day.

Breakdown of Collections

The Telugu version contributed the most to the film’s earnings, bringing in Rs.9.8 crore. The Hindi and Tamil versions also added to the total collection. The film recorded 53.58% occupancy in Telugu, while the Hindi and Tamil versions had 9.13% and 9.08% occupancy, respectively.

Sobhita Dhulipala 's Special Gesture

Ahead of the film’s release, actress Sobhita Dhulipala showed her support for her husband, Naga Chaitanya. She shared a picture wearing a black hoodie with Thandel printed on the back, captioning it, “Giving me all the positive vibes I need!”

Naga Chaitanya ’s Emotional Connect with Vizag

During a promotional event, Naga Chaitanya urged his fans in Vizag to make the film a big success. He revealed his deep connection to the city, saying, "Vizag is close to my heart because I fell in love with a Vizag girl and married her. Now, there’s a piece of Vizag in my home too. So, my brothers, I have one request—Thandel’s box office collection in Vizag should be huge, or I will lose my honor at home!"

Story and Production Details

Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel revolves around the story of Raju, a fisherman from Srikakulam, who is captured by Pakistan forces while fishing in international waters. The film is produced by Bunny Vasu, Allu Aravind, and Koppineedi Vidya.

The film’s music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, adding to the emotional depth and intensity of the storyline.
