Teaser Introduces the Dangerous ‘Raya’
Sharing a three-minute-long teaser, KVN Productions wrote, “Get a good look at your danger – Introducing RAYA.” The teaser confirms that Toxic will hit cinemas worldwide on 19 March 2026. Dark, intense, and unapologetically violent, the video establishes Raya as a character who commands fear and chaos.
Cemetery Scene Sets a Brutal Tone
The teaser opens in a graveyard, where a man—likely a criminal ganglord—is seen mourning his child alongside his men. The somber atmosphere doesn’t last long. A mysterious car arrives, disrupting the funeral and setting the stage for an explosive turn of events.
Yash’s Explosive Entry Shocks Viewers
Moments later, Yash’s character blows apart the cemetery, steps out of the car, and unleashes a storm of bullets on those who survive the blast. The sequence leaves little room for doubt—Raya is ruthless, unpredictable, and deadly, marking a sharp shift from Yash’s previous on-screen personas.
Power-Packed Ensemble Cast Revealed
Earlier, the makers had revealed first-look posters of Kiara Advani as Nadia and Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth. Nayanthara essays the role of Ganga, while Rukmini Vasanth appears as Melissa. The film also features Akshay Oberoi in a key role, adding further weight to the ensemble cast.
Backed by Yash and KVN Productions
Toxic is produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The project reflects Yash’s growing influence not just as an actor, but also as a producer backing ambitious, large-scale cinema.
Earlier Teaser Teased Style and Swagger
A teaser released last year had already set expectations high. It showed Yash stepping out of a sleek black car, cigar in hand, dressed in a sharp white suit and hat, before walking into a pub. The clip ended with him pouring alcohol over a bar dancer, hinting at the film’s raw and rebellious tone.
Yash’s First Film After KGF: Chapter 2
Toxic marks Yash’s first project since KGF: Chapter 2, the Prashanth Neel-directed blockbuster that released in 2022. Scheduled to hit theatres on 19 March 2026, the film will clash with Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar 2, setting up a major box-office battle.
