Vedant Mahajan Brings a New Vision to Global Indian Nightlife with MVM Entertainment
Vedant Mahajan builds MVM Entertainment into a global nightlife brand catering to young Indians across major cities.
Six years ago, Vedant Mahajan moved from Mumbai to London to study at UCL School of Management. What began as a student experience quickly turned into a sharp cultural observation. There was no space for young Indians abroad to go out, feel at home, and still be part of a premium, globally relevant nightlife scene.
The options were limited: either mainstream clubs where cultural familiarity was missing, or “desi nights” that often carried a dated perception and lacked the aspirational, high-end experience today’s global Indian audience was seeking. Mahajan saw an opportunity.
He began curating his own events, booking some of London’s most premium venues across Mayfair and hosting carefully designed nights that blended premium nightlife with cultural familiarity. By bringing leading DJs and artists from India and combining this with a highly curated guest list, MVM quickly established itself as a new kind of social space, one that felt both global and rooted.
What started as a small experiment soon evolved into one of the most sought-after nightlife experiences for Indians abroad. Over time, MVM became synonymous with a new-age cultural movement, attracting high-profile names across entertainment and sport such as Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Hardik Pandya and Shubman Gill and naturally positioning itself as a go-to destination for the global Indian crowd.
Recognising that this wasn’t just a London-specific gap, Vedant expanded the vision. He was soon joined by his brother, Shaurya Mahajan, and together they scaled MVM into multiple international markets. Today, the brand operates across key global cities including London, New York, Dubai, Toronto, and beyond—each market reflecting the same core philosophy: elevated experiences for a globally connected Indian audience.
MVM’s growth reflects a broader cultural shift. What was once considered unconventional - turning nightlife into a structured, global business—has now opened up a new category altogether. It has created opportunities for a younger generation to engage with culture, hospitality, and entrepreneurship in ways that were previously overlooked.
At its core, MVM is more than just nightlife. It represents a shift in identity—where global Indians no longer have to choose between cultural belonging and world-class experiences.
