Over 20 years after the tragic death of actress Soundarya in a plane crash, serious allegations have surfaced against veteran Tollywood actor Mohan Babu. A complaint has been filed in Andhra Pradesh's Khammam district, claiming that Soundarya’s death was not accidental but connected to a long-standing property dispute involving Mohan Babu.

Allegations of Property Dispute
The complainant, Chittimallu, has alleged that Mohan Babu pressured Soundarya and her brother to sell six acres of land in Shamshabad. However, when they refused, tensions escalated between them. The complaint further claims that after Soundarya’s death, Mohan Babu forcefully took over the disputed land.
No FIR Yet, But Demand for Investigation
Despite these serious claims, no FIR has been registered so far. It is unclear how the complainant is connected to the case. However, he has urged authorities to seize the land and launch a fresh investigation into Mohan Babu’s alleged role in the matter.
Soundarya’s Tragic End
Soundarya, a popular Kannada actress, gained fame for her role as Radha in the 1999 Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Sooryavansham. On April 17, 2004, she and her brother tragically lost their lives when their private jet crashed while heading to Karimnagar for a political event. She was 31 years old and reportedly pregnant at the time.
Complaint Mentions Family Dispute
The complaint also highlights the long-standing family feud between Mohan Babu and his younger son, Manchu Manoj. Last year, the dispute turned physical, with Mohan Babu allegedly attacking a journalist. His elder son, Manchu Vishnu, dismissed the altercation as a minor family issue.
Call for Police Protection
Chittimallu has marked his complaint to the Khammam Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) and the District Officer, requesting police protection due to alleged threats to his life.
This new complaint has stirred controversy, and it remains to be seen whether authorities will take further action.
