Shark Tank India 4 has introduced a new judge, Srikanth Bolla, a successful entrepreneur and founder of Bollant Industries. Despite being visually impaired, Bolla has carved a remarkable journey in the business world.

Announcing his participation on social media, Bolla shared photos from the show’s set. He captioned his post, "To survive a pool of sharks, you need to become one yourself." One of the images featured him alongside Jeet Adani, who holds key leadership roles in the Adani Group.
Bolla praised Shark Tank India for boosting entrepreneurship in the country. He encouraged aspiring business owners to take action on their ideas, stating, "Don't just think about your idea; act on it, or someone else will!"
Who Is Srikanth Bolla?
Srikanth Bolla is a visionary entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is the CEO and co-founder of Bollant Industries, a company that promotes eco-friendly products while providing jobs to disabled individuals. His company generates over $150 million in annual revenue and employs more than 500 people.
Born on July 7, 1991, in Seetharamapuram, Andhra Pradesh, Bolla grew up in a Telugu-speaking farming family. Despite scoring 98% in his Class XII exams, he faced challenges due to a lack of infrastructure for visually impaired students. Determined to succeed, he fought a legal battle for his right to education and won.
Rejected by IIT coaching institutes, Bolla applied to top global universities, eventually securing admission to the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He became the first visually impaired student at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Srikanth Bolla ’s Entrepreneurial Journey
After completing his studies, Bolla returned to India and worked to uplift underprivileged youth. In 2011, he co-founded the Samanvai Center for Children with Multiple Disabilities, launching a Braille printing press to support visually impaired students.
In 2012, he established Bollant Industries with co-founder Ravi Mantha. Backed by Ratan Tata, the company produces eco-friendly products from natural materials like areca leaves. It also recycles waste materials into useful goods, making sustainability a core focus of its operations.
Bolla’s inspiring story has earned him global recognition. He was featured in Forbes' "30 Under 30" Asia list in 2017 and is now the subject of the Bollywood film Srikanth, starring Rajkummar Rao.
