Talking about his experience working on the film, Suvrat Joshi says, "The story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj needs to be told to the world. Unfortunately, not many people are aware of his history and significance. Director Laxman Utekar decided to make a film on this subject, and I'm thrilled to be a part of it."
Suvrat has always wanted to work in a historical film, and Chhaava has fulfilled that dream. He praises director Laxman Utekar's working style and the entire team's hard work. Suvrat also shares his experience of working with Vicky Kaushal, who plays the lead role in the film.
The film's sets, costumes, and makeup transported Suvrat to a different era. He recalls, "When we shot on the Raigad set, it felt like we were living in that era. Every actor, including Vicky Kaushal, worked tirelessly to bring this story to life."
Suvrat hopes that Chaava will reach a global audience, not just in India. He is currently busy with his popular play "Varvarche Vdhu Var" and has several projects lined up for 2025.
