The Glamorous First Look

The sneak-peek channels the vibe of classic American gangster films. Yash makes a grand entrance dressed in a white suit, a fedora, and holding a cigar, as he steps into a luxurious club filled with indulgence and sinful pleasures. The sultry atmosphere sets the stage for what promises to be a “Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.”

A Delay in Release Date

Toxic was originally set for release on April 10, 2025, but Yash recently confirmed that the film will hit theaters later than expected.

International Talent Involved

Hollywood action choreographer JJ Perry, known for his work on Planet of the Apes, Iron Man, and John Wick Chapter 2, has joined the Toxic team. However, the full cast and crew details remain under wraps. Kiara Advani is expected to play a major role in the film.

Controversy Surrounding the Film

In October 2024, Toxic was embroiled in controversy when Environment Minister Eshwar Khandre accused the film's production team of illegally cutting down trees in the Peenya forest area in Bengaluru. The producers denied these allegations, asserting that no rules were violated during filming.

What’s Next for Yash?

Aside from Toxic, Yash is also preparing to play Ravan in the highly anticipated pan-Indian film Ramayana. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and co-produced by Yash alongside Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus India, this film also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Ram and Sita. Fans eagerly await Yash’s next big role in this epic retelling.
