Zayn Malik Announces 'Stairway to the Sky' Tour: A Comeback After One Direction Era

Zayn Malik is gearing up for his highly anticipated first solo tour, titled Stairway to the Sky. The former One Direction member surprised fans by announcing the tour during a special appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 18.

Malik, 31, made a playful entrance, dressed in a black leather jacket and carrying a coffee mug. He took over Fallon's laptop to perform his latest single, Stardust, from his new album Room Under the Stairs, which was released on May 17.

Following his performance, Malik left a note for Fallon, which the host read aloud: "Hey Jimmy, great to see you, mate. I'm going on my first-ever tour this autumn. So maybe when you're done picking apples with your buds, you can come check out my Stairway to the Sky tour across the US and UK."

Tour Details

The 11-city tour kicks off in San Francisco, CA, on October 23, 2024, and will feature stops in major cities, including Las Vegas, Washington, DC, and New York City, before heading to the UK. The North American leg wraps up on November 2 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. After a brief break, the UK leg begins on November 20 in Edinburgh, with stops in Leeds, Manchester, London, Wolverhampton, and Newcastle. The tour will conclude on December 3, 2024, in Newcastle, UK.

Fans can grab presale tickets starting September 19, with general sales opening on September 21 at 11 am local time via Malik's official website, inzayn.com.
