Weather Conditions and Increase in Pollution
Delhi's pollution crisis has worsened due to the drop in temperature and foggy conditions. Low temperatures and slow wind speeds cause pollutants to accumulate near the surface and prevent them from dissipating. This weather change has trapped pollutants, leading to a significant deterioration in air quality. This situation is particularly dangerous for children, the elderly, and those suffering from respiratory diseases.
