People's attention has recently been drawn to the Twitter hashtag #FlyingKiss. The reason: a contentious occurrence in the Lok Sabha.

According to reports, Rahul Gandhi, a Congress party member, blasted a 'flying kiss' gesture at the opposition benches during a session. The Congress party, on the other hand, claims that the gesture was meant to be broad and not explicitly directed at any minister, including Smriti Irani.

The episode involving Rahul Gandhi caused great discussion because he also referred to opposition members as "brothers and sisters."

Despite Congress leaders' assertions that the gesture was not directed at Smriti Irani or any other minister, Ms. Irani brought up the event during a discussion on a no-confidence motion against the BJP administration.

Such a move, according to Ms. Irani, is unique in the parliamentary context and demonstrates a lack of dignity.

Smriti Irani expressed her displeasure with the occurrence, stating that the act was demeaning, especially in a setting where female members of Parliament sit. She denounced the gesture as a sign of misogyny and questioned whether persons who demonstrate such behavior in the House of Commons should be held accountable.

Shobha Karandlaje, a Union Minister and BJP leader stated that multiple women have submitted complaints against Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha and that she has discussed the problem with Speaker Om Birla.

This scandal has sparked extensive debate about the appropriateness and decency of a member of Parliament's behavior.

Since then, the hashtag has acquired traction as a result of the appearance of different memes and jokes about the occurrence.

In the midst of the hot hashtag, it's worth mentioning that Rahul Gandhi previously exchanged words with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He questioned the Prime Minister's failure to address the unrest in Manipur, a state that has been in turmoil for months.

Rahul Gandhi's accusation that the government failed to protect the nation's interests caused even more debate and controversy.
