The first glimpse Ram Lalla iconic idol is here. The idol is placed in the Ram Mandir Garb Griha and priests are currently undertaking the rituals. The eyes of the idols are covered in yellow cloth and will be removed after the completion of Pran Pratisthain of the idol.

A full photo of the idol with the face has also surfaced. According to reports, this photo was taken during the process of sculpting.

People have been waiting to see the idol of Ram Lalla and now that the idol is finally revealed, Congress leader Digvijay Singh has already given a controversial statement which has the capacity to hurt the sentiments of millions of India.

The former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Digvijay Singh questioned the childlike character of the idol of Ram Lalla. He said "I have been saying this from the beginning, where is the idol of Ram Lalla whose idol was controversial and destroyed? What was the need for the second statue? Our Guru Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Ji Maharaj had also suggested that the idol of Lord Ram in the Ram Janmabhoomi temple should be in the form of a child and should be in the lap of Mother Kaushalya. But the idol that is being seated in the temple does not look like a child."

The idol was placed in the temple on January 18.

The exquisite idol of 'Ram Lalla' has been meticulously crafted by Arun Yogiraj, a renowned sculptor hailing from Karnataka. Standing at a height of 51 inches and weighing an impressive 1.5 tonnes, the idol vividly portrays Lord Ram as a five-year-old child standing on a lotus, also sculpted from the same stone.

As Ayodhya readies itself for the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of the Ram Temple scheduled on January 22, the city is adorned with vibrant flowers, creating a picturesque atmosphere.

Scheduled for January 22, the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya will witness Prime Minister Narendra Modi performing rituals to mark this auspicious occasion. Leading the main rituals, a team of priests headed by Lakshmikant Dixit will oversee the sacred proceedings. Several celebrities and distinguished personalities have received invitations to grace the ceremony with their presence.

In contrast, on Tuesday, Congress leader Digvijaya Singh made allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, and RSS, claiming that their intent was to demolish the Babri Masjid rather than construct a temple. In a detailed statement on X, Singh clarified that the Congress had never opposed the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya but advocated waiting for the court's decision.

Singh asserted, "Congress never opposed the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. We were only asked to wait until the court's decision for construction in the disputed land." He highlighted historical instances, mentioning, "Bhoomi pujan' on non-disputed land was also done during the time of Rajiv ji. Narasimha Rao ji had also acquired non-disputed land for the construction of the Ram temple."

However, Singh accused the BJP, VHP, and RSS of wanting to demolish the mosque to escalate the matter into a Hindu-Muslim issue. He emphasized, "Destruction is in their behavior and character; taking political advantage by spreading unrest is their strategy. That's why their slogan was 'Ram Lalla hum aayenge, Mandir wahi Banayenge.'"

Singh questioned the decision to construct the temple now, despite the Supreme Court awarding the disputed land to the Trust. He expressed concern about the inclusion of certain individuals in the ceremony and raised questions about the absence of invitations for those who had fought for Ram Janmabhoomi for 175 years.
