Five dead in bus-car collision on Yamuna Expressway near Delhi
In a devastating incident on Monday, five individuals lost their lives after a passenger bus collided with a car on the Yamuna Expressway, near Mile Stone 110 in Village Kishanpur, under the Mahavan police station area in Mathura.

Details of the accident
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shailesh Pandey provided insights into the tragic accident, stating, "Five people have died in the road accident that took place on the Yamuna Expressway. The incident occurred when a bus traveling from Agra to Noida hit a divider, lost control, and collided with a car."
Fiery Aftermath
The collision resulted in both vehicles catching fire, leading to a harrowing situation. Passengers on the bus were able to escape, but unfortunately, those in the car couldn't, and the flames claimed their lives.
Delayed response from Fire Brigade
Eyewitnesses reported a delay in the arrival of the fire brigade, with officials reaching the scene only after half an hour. Efforts are now underway to extinguish the blaze, and investigations are ongoing.
Previous Incidents on Yamuna Expressway
This tragic incident follows a similar one from last month when two buses collided at Mile Stone 110 Raya Cut in Mathura, leaving at least 40 people injured. The Yamuna Expressway, spanning 165.5 km and connecting Greater Noida with Agra, has witnessed unfortunate accidents in recent times, highlighting the need for increased safety measures on this crucial transportation route.
