Haryana Assembly Election: Haryana Assembly EC  However the assembly  election  in Haryana which was scheduled  for  1st of  October  in the year end. The  dates of the election may be change. As by the sources. The decision in this regard can be taken in the Election Commission meeting on Tuesday on the request of political parties. BJP written a letter to EC

The Bharatiya Janata Party has demanded a change in the voting date for the Haryana Assembly elections. As by the Election Commission sources, voting may take place on October 7 or 8 instead of October 1. Accordingly, the counting date may also be extended. The Election Commission may announce this on Tuesday. BJP President Haryana Mohan Lal Badoli had written a letter to the EC in which he had asked to change the polling datem . He says this  there are many holidays before and after the polling date, so this date should be changed. Mohan Lal Badoli wrote a letter to the commission saying that there are holidays before and after the polling day on 1 October. Due to these holidays, people can go out for a walk. This can affect the voting percentage. On this basis, he had requested the Election Commission and the Chief Electoral Officer of Haryana to change the polling date.

In his letter, he mentioned that 28th is Saturday and 29th is Sunday, 30th is Monday.a working day in between and polling will be held on Tuesday, 1 October. While there is a holiday on Gandhi Jayanti on 2 October, there is a holiday on Agrasen Jayanti on 3 October. In such a situation, due to the 6-day long weekend, people can go on holidays. After the Lok Sabha elections, the Election Commission had said that we have learned a lesson from these elections that elections should not be held in extreme heat and polling should not be held on weekends.
