The Bharatiya Janata Party has demanded a change in the voting date for the Haryana Assembly elections. As by the Election Commission sources, voting may take place on October 7 or 8 instead of October 1. Accordingly, the counting date may also be extended. The Election Commission may announce this on Tuesday. BJP President Haryana Mohan Lal Badoli had written a letter to the EC in which he had asked to change the polling datem . He says this there are many holidays before and after the polling date, so this date should be changed. Mohan Lal Badoli wrote a letter to the commission saying that there are holidays before and after the polling day on 1 October. Due to these holidays, people can go out for a walk. This can affect the voting percentage. On this basis, he had requested the Election Commission and the Chief Electoral Officer of Haryana to change the polling date.
