Health ministry is going to launch Ayushman Bhav campaign on the occasion of PM Modi’s Birthday

In honour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, a fresh health initiative has been launched. On September 17, the health ministry will launch the Ayushman Bhav campaign.  On September 13, President Droupadi Murmu gave it its official debut.

Complete details of  the Ayushman Bhav campaign

1) The programme, which will be carried out from September 17 to October 2 during "Seva Pakhwada," represents a national and social approach.

2) The 'Ayushman Bhav' programme, launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, is a comprehensive national healthcare project that aims to offer saturation coverage of healthcare services, reaching every village and town in the nation.

3) It connects communities, civil society organisations, and government agencies under a shared goal to guarantee that everyone has access to basic healthcare without discrimination or exclusion.

4) This innovative project represents an important shift in healthcare services and builds on the Ayushman Bharat program's success.

5) In collaboration with the Department of Health, other government agencies, and regionally elected authorities in both rural and urban regions, Gram Panchayats are leading the Ayushman Bhav programme.

6) Through its three components, this synergistic method attempts to completely cover the cost of health care. Ayushman - Apke Dwar 3.0, Ayushman Melas in Community Health Centres (CHCs) and Health and Wellness Centres (HWCs), and Ayushman Sabhas in each village and panchayat

7) Its main goal is to provide complete healthcare coverage to every hamlet and town, cutting across geographic boundaries and making sure that no one is left behind.

8) Ayushman Sabhas: These meetings, which will be held in every village and Panchayat, will be crucial in distributing Ayushman cards, creating ABHA IDs, and promoting awareness of important health programmes and disease conditions, such as non-communicable illnesses, TB (Nikshay Mitra), sickle cell illness, as well as donating blood and donations of organs drives.

9)Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0: This effort seeks to deliver Ayushman cards to remaining qualified beneficiaries registered in the PM-JAY programme, ensuring that more people have access to vital healthcare services.

10)Ayushman Melas at HWCs and CHCs: These Ayushman Bharat-HWC and CHC Melas will make it easier to create ABHA IDs (Health IDs) and issue Ayushman Bharat Cards. They will also provide early diagnosis, extensive primary healthcare, teleconsultations with specialists, and suitable referrals.
