The Hindu side has registered a significant win to their name in the ongoing Gyanvapi case. The Varanasi District court has given the order allowing the Hindu side to worship inside the Gyanvapi mosque complex.

Historic Moment in the Gyanvapi case

Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain said that this is a historic order. He said that being the legal team they have done their duty and now it is on the trust to make further arrangements to start Puja in the complex.

The Varanasi District court has given the orders that the Hindu side can start worshiping in the Gyanvapi mosque premises within a week at the Vyas Ka Tekhana. For this, the court has ordered the district administration to make the necessary arrangements within a week. He said "As soon as arrangements are made, Hindu devotees will start offering prayers. Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust does not need any order to make arrangements for prayers. We have done our legal work. It is up to Trust to start the prayers within seven days."

He compared today with the historic order announced by District Judge KM Pandey to open the gates of Ram Mandir on February 1, 1986. He said "I compare today's order with that February 1, 1986 order. It is a historic order."

While expressing joy over the order today, he further said that one of the state governments prevented the Hindu community from offering prayers at the complex and the court has now corrected it by giving written orders. He said "There was no written order to stop the prayers. Today, there is also no written order from any government to show how the prayers were stopped. We will soon complete the legal case. And win it. One state government had misused its power to stop the Hindu devotees from offering prayers there. Today, the court rectified it with its pen. And gave the order to allow the prayers".

Plan Ahead

Advocate Jain said that there will also be a survey on the Wuzu Khana for which the hearing will take place in the Apex court. "Next, there will be a survey on Wuzu Khana. For which there will be a hearing in the Supreme Court," said Jain.

Advocate Subhash Nandan Chaturvedi said that "...Today the right has been given to perform puja (prayers) at 'Vyas Ka Tekhana' and the court has given the order to the district officer for compliance of the order within a week..."
