This prison serves as a reminder of the struggles our country's freedom warriors endured in order to secure the freedom that we now take for granted. This prison, built in the middle of the sea, served as a haven for political detainees, including well-known independence fighters like Battukeshwar Dutt and Veer Savarkar. 4) JALLAINWALA BAGH, AMRITSAR- The Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, which occurred in 1919, is remembered at the memorial site Jallianwala Bagh. The bullet wounds are still visible on the garden's walls.

5) KARGIL WAR MEMORIAL- The Pakistan Army crossed the Line of Control (LoC) in the winter of 1998–1999 and took control of various heights along the National Highway, as well as the highways connecting Leh and Kargil to Srinagar. In order to recapture the territory, the Indian Army launched Operation Vijay (Victory) in May 1999. In the end, the war was won by the Indian Army after a number of bloody battles. Kargil Vijay Diwas, also known as Kargil Victory Day, is held on July 26 every year. The Indian Army built the memorial in its current form in November 2014.
