The price per kilogram of onions is likely to surpass Rs.100 by the first week of November.

In a similar way, the cost of onions has increased in Karnataka and Maharashtra, among other states. Onions were sold for Rs.65–70 per kilogram by the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) at Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru.
