The security lapse raised concerns as one lakh thirty thousand spectators were in attendance at Ahmedabad Stadium for the final match. Despite stringent security measures in place, the Palestinian supporter managed to bypass them and access the field, highlighting a major flaw in player safety protocols during the high-stakes game.

During Adam Zampa's bowling spell with Virat Kohli and KL Rahul at the crease, a young man entered the field in an attempt to get closer to Virat Kohli. The intruder, sporting a jersey adorned with the Palestine flag and a T-shirt with a slogan advocating the liberation of Palestine, was promptly intercepted by security personnel, who escorted him out of the field.

Despite the security breach, Virat Kohli remained unfazed, maintaining his focus during the incident. Kohli continued to smile and even engaged in a brief conversation with Australia captain Pat Cummins, demonstrating composure amid the unexpected disruption caused by the fan's intrusion.

In the crucial World Cup final clash, Australian captain Pat Cummins emerged victorious in the toss and elected to bowl first. Despite India's aggressive start, Australia made a successful comeback by dismissing Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer early in the innings. Indian captain Rohit Sharma contributed 47 runs before departing. The early wickets for Australia were claimed by Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and Josh Hazlewood.

As Team India takes the field with the ambition of securing their third World Cup title, Australia is determined to clinch their sixth ODI World Cup victory. India previously claimed the World Cup in 1983 and 2011, while Australia holds titles from 1987, 1999, 2003, 2007, and 2015. The clash between these cricketing giants intensifies as they vie for supremacy in the 2023 World Cup final.
