On the occasion of the 74th Republic Day, 26th January 2023, BSF exchanged sweets and greetings with Pak Rangers along the International border of Gujarat and the Barmer District of Rajasthan. The greetings and exchange of sweets took place at the International Borders of Banaskantha and Kutch districts of Gujarat as well as at ICP Munabao, Gadra, Kelnore, Somrar, and Varnahar in Barmer District of Rajasthan.

74th Republic Day was celebrated with great zeal, enthusiasm, and nationalistic fervour at Nadabet as well as at all forward posts along the international border and HQrs of BSF. Shri Ravi Gandhi, IG BSF Gujarat Frontier unfurled the national flag at Seema Darshan, Nadabet. He met school children and flagged off Run for Unity and ‘Border Quest’ Thar Car Rally. He conveyed greetings to the nation on this auspicious national festival and said that BSF is protecting the borders of the nation with ultimate zeal and commitment.
He further mentioned that the Seema Darshan project at Nadabet is an excellent initiative of the Government of Gujarat in association with BSF to show the borders of India, the challenges of terrain, and the way BSF is securing the borders.
Youth is motivated to serve the nation. Also, it has come up as a distinct and iconic model of border tourism and has generated employment for the border population.
Thus, the 74th Republic Day ended on good terms across India, bringing in the motive to take India to a greater future.
