At precisely 18:04, Chandrayaan-3 achieved a successful soft landing on the south pole of the moon. The Prime Minister addressed the nation as we bore witness to this historic event.

The ISRO office witnessed celebrations as their diligent efforts bore fruit.

ISRO Chief S Somanath extended congratulations to his team for the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission. He then took the podium to officially announce the triumph of Chandrayaan-3 to the Prime Minister of India, requesting him to address the nation. "No country has previously reached this destination, the South Pole of the moon. With the relentless dedication of our scientists, we have accomplished this feat," he remarked. The Prime Minister added that while challenges were surmounted on Earth, the mission was triumphantly achieved on the moon. He further stated, "When we bear witness to such historic moments, we feel blessed."

The Prime Minister extended his congratulations to all the scientists of India.

"We have become the first country to approach the South Pole of the Moon," declared P Veeramuthuvel, Project Director of the Chandrayaan-3 Mission.
