Aid Entering Gaza from Egyptian Border
This aid that entered Gaza accounts for only a fraction to total aid waiting to Gaza. According to reports, these 20 trucks carried a small portion from a total of 3,000 tonnes of aid waiting in Egypt to reach Gaza.
Delayed aid
As of Now, 14 days have passed Hamas attacked Israel and the war is still continuing.
Trucks carrying aid were lining up at the Egyptian side but were not getting the green flag to cross the border as Israel was not on the same page.
Israeli was fearing that Hamas could take control of the aid and would use that the fuel ammunitions and weapons. Israel was trying to block fuel that could enter Gaza so as to keep it away from the hands of Hamas.
After the visit by the President of United States, Joe Biden in Israel, Israel gave positive response towards allowing aid to cross the border and reach Gaza.
Israel is focused on increasing the intensity of attack while minimizing the harm to their own soldiers.
