Indian Navy: Adm. Dinesh Kumar takes charge, succeeding Adm. Hari Kumar; VAdm. Krishna Swaminathan assumes office
Indian Navy New Admiral; New Delhi, The prestigious Indian Navy has got new Admiral and Vice Admiral with Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, PVSM, AVSM, NM assuming office as Chief of Navy Staff succeeding Admiral Hari Kumar and Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan assuming the office succeeding the former V.Adm. Dinesh Tripathi.
Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan- an electronic warfare expert
Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan took the charge of the Vice Chief of Indian Navy on 1st May. V.Adm.. Krishna , AVS, VSM, is a Communication and Electronic Warfare Specialist and has held important positions in the Navy. He has held operational, staff and training appointments , Chief of Personnel & Controller of Personnel Services at Naval Headquarters. Apart from this, V.Adm.. Krishna has also held the position of Chief of Staff of the Western Naval Command.
Admiral Dinesh Tripathi- an experience of 40 years
Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi assumed the command of the Indian Navy on 30th of April succeeding Admiral R Hari Kumar who served as the 25the Chief of Indian Naval Staff.
Admiral R Hari Kumar PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC retired from his position after serving for more than two years as the commander of Indian Navy. He assumed the office of Admiral on 9th November 2021.
An alumni of the Sainik School Rewa and NDA, Khadakwasla, Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi was commissioned in the executive branch of Indian navy on 1st July 1985 .
He has served as the Signal Communication Officer, Electronic Warfare officer as well as the Executive officer and Principal Warfare officer of the Guided Missile destroyer INS Mumbai. His sea commands include INS Vinash, INS Kirch and INS Trishul. He has had a glorious career of 40 long year.
Since Indian Navy is having indigenously built ships and submarines, Admiral Dinesh Tripathi will be part of a glorious history of the Indian Navy in the upcoming years.
