The Indian Railways said on Friday that 283 special services will be available for the next few days to ensure customers' seamless and comfortable travel throughout the festive season.

The Ministry of Railways further stated that these 283 special services will make 4480 journeys this year until Chhath Puja.
Measures have been taken to ensure that trains with platform numbers are announced often and on schedule.
Important rail stations have "May I Help You" booths staffed by RPF personnel and TTEs to help passengers. Major stations provide medical teams and ambulances with paramedics on call for passenger assistance.
Meanwhile, measures have been taken to safeguard the security and safety of passengers.

Additional RPF members have been stationed at major stations to ensure passenger safety. Officers are stationed at important stations on emergency duty to make sure that trains run smoothly.
The Ministry of Railways further stated that staffs are being deployed in various departments to respond to any disruption in train service on a priority basis.
According to a news release from the Ministry of Railways, Special Trains are being developed to connect significant destinations around the country using railway routes.

The Security and Vigilance Department team is closely monitoring any malpractice. Zonal Headquarters has issued instructions for preserving cleanliness in waiting halls, retiring rooms, platforms in particular, and stations in general, according to the Ministry of Railways.
