The Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), India's pioneering tennis ball T10 cricket tournament, has taken a step forward by revealing the co-owners for its six teams representing major cities: Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, and Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir). The official announcement was made during a grand event held in Mumbai, which witnessed the presence of key figures from ISPL's core committee.

The grand reveal commenced with ceremonial lamp lighting by ISPL's core committee members, including cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar, Ashish Shelar, Ravi Shastri, Amol Kale, and Suraj Samat. The event marked a significant milestone in ISPL's journey, setting the stage for a thrilling cricket extravaganza.

ISPL's call for interested bidders to become co-owners goes beyond being an opportunity to engage with an exciting cricket venture. It also provides a unique chance to collaborate with some of the most prominent names in the film industry. The co-owners will join the illustrious list of celebrity superstar owners, featuring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan (Kolkata), Amitabh Bachchan (Mumbai), Akshay Kumar (Srinagar), Hrithik Roshan (Bengaluru), Suriya (Chennai), and Ram Charan (Hyderabad).

Sachin Tendulkar, Investor and Core Committee Member, ISPL said, “The Co-Owners will play an important part in realising ISPL’s core vision of encouraging and finding emerging cricketing talent through a professional league format with a tennis ball. I wish them all the best as they embark on this new association with the game!”

The co-owners of the six teams are 1. SG Sports (Srinagar): Sanjay Gupta and Rohan Gupta 2. KVN Enterprises LLP (Bengaluru): Venkat K Narayana 3. Parth Limited (Mumbai): Neeti Agarwal 4. INR Holdings (Hyderabad): Irfan Razack 5. (Chennai): Rajdipkumar Gupta and Sandeepkumar Gupta 6. Aspect Global Ventures Pvt. Ltd (Kolkata): Aksha Kamboj

As the inaugural edition of ISPL approaches, with the first matches scheduled between March 6 and 15, 2024, in Mumbai, the league promises to deliver captivating cricketing entertainment. The tournament introduces a high-octane twist to the sport, captivating audiences with the dynamic fusion of tennis ball T10 cricket and star-studded team ownership.
