As the world prepares for the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, India is gearing up for another impressive display of talent from its para-athletes. The Games will take place from August 28 to September 8, 2024, and are set to celebrate the remarkable spirit and skill of athletes with disabilities.

India is sending a strong delegation to Paris comprising 84 para-athletes, including 32 women. This year’s Paralympics will be special for India as it debuted in three new sports: para-cycling, para-rowing, and blind judo. With these additions, India will compete in 12 out of the 22 sports featured at this year’s Games.
