Manu Bhaker: 10m Air Pistol Women’s
Manu Bhaker kicked off India’s medal haul with a bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol event. The 22-year-old shooter overcame the setbacks of the Tokyo Olympics, where a pistol malfunction cost her a medal. In France, she secured third place with a score of 221.7 after 22 shots.
Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh: 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team Event
Manu Bhaker made history by becoming the first Indian woman to win two medals in a single edition of the Summer Games. She achieved this feat alongside Sarabjot Singh, winning bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed team event.
Swapnil Kusale: 50m Rifle 3 Positions
Swapnil Kusale added a third medal for India in shooting, securing bronze in the 50m rifle 3 positions event. This achievement marks him as the first Indian to win a medal in this event.
Indian Men’s Hockey Team
The Indian men’s hockey team earned their bronze medal by defeating Spain 2-1 in the third-place match. Captain Harmanpreet Singh scored both goals, helping India secure back-to-back hockey medals after their bronze in Tokyo 2020.

Neeraj Chopra: Men’s Javelin Throw
Neeraj Chopra won the silver medal in the men’s javelin throw, becoming the first Indian track-and-field athlete to win two Olympic medals. The 26-year-old achieved his silver with a throw of 89.45 meters in the second round. He had previously won gold in Tokyo with a throw of 87.58 meters. Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem set a new Olympic record with a throw of 92.97 meters to claim gold.
