Netanyahu says Israel not ready for ceasefire

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in very clear words stated that Israel will not agree to ceasefire.
The Israeli PM on October 20, in a press briefing said that Israel will not agree to ceasefire just as United States did not.

Israel is standing its Ground

For Israel, the October 7 attack was an attack on its sovereignty, an attack on its people, an attack on the safety of its people and hence, Israel is not ready to stop until it is satisfied with the result of the war,  until the horrors of October 7 are not avenged and answered.

Ceasefire equates to Surrender

PM Netanyahu reminded the world of how United States did not agree to ceasefire after the Pearl Harbour attack and the 9/11 attack, Israel will also not stop.

He further said that the calls for ceasefire mean surrendering to the acts of terror and hostilities by Hamas.  According to him, even the Bible states that there is a time for peace and there is a time for war, and for Israel, it is a time for War.

He said "Calls for a ceasefire are calls for Israel to surrender to Hamas, to surrender to terror, to surrender to barbarism, This will not happen, Ladies and Gentlemen, the Bible says that there is a time for war and time for war. This is a time for war. A war for common future."

Fight for a better future

He further said that attack of October 7 reminds that, the civilise world will not see a better future unless the civilised world is willing to fight the barbarians because the barbarians are ready to fight the civilised world. Hence, this is a turning point for nations and leaders to take action and decide the future they want. He made it clear that Israel will continue fighting and will win the war.

The PM said " It is time for all of us to decide is we are willing to fight for a future of Hope and promise or surrender to tyranny and terror. Now rest assured, Israel will fight. Since October 7, Israel has been at war. Israel did not start this war. Israel did not want this war. But Israel will win this war."
