As the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony for Ram Lalla in Ayodhya approaches, Navaratna Prajapati, a Guinness World Record-holder sculptor, has showcased his exceptional talent by carving out a statue of Lord Ram on the tip of a pencil. Prajapati, known for his intricate work, dedicated five days to complete this extraordinary piece of art, standing at a mere 1.3cm in height.

World's Smallest Lord Ram Statue

In an interview with ANI, Prajapati expressed, "It took me 5 days to complete it. And it is just 1.3cm in height. This is the smallest statue in the world."

"I will gift this to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and try to get it a place in the Shri Ram museum," he added.

Devotees' Offerings to the Temple

In preparation for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony, devotees of Lord Ram from across the country have made significant offerings to the temple. Notably, a massive 400 kg lock from Aligarh, recognized as the world's largest, and 1,265 kg of laddu Prasad from Hyderabad, reached Ayodhya. Both offerings, though distinct in origin, share a common thread of devotion to Lord Ram.

The Story Behind the Laddu Prasad

Nagabhushanam Reddy, the owner of Sri Ram Catering Services in Hyderabad, shared the story behind the massive laddu prasad. He explained, "God has blessed my business and my family. I had pledged to prepare 1 kg of laddoo for each day till I am alive."

"I have brought a food certificate as well. These laddus can last one month. 25 men prepared the laddoos for 3 days," he added

The Lock's Sentimental Journey from Aligarh

The world's largest lock, weighing 400 kg, holds sentimental value as it was made two years ago by an elderly couple, Satya Prakash Sharma and Rukmini Sharma, from Aligarh. Satya Prakash Sharma, now deceased, had expressed the wish that the lock be gifted to Ayodhya Ram Mandir.

Grand Temple Opening Anticipation

Ayodhya is abuzz with preparations for the grand temple opening, with leaders and dignitaries from various walks of life receiving invitations. Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony began on January 16, a week before the main ceremony. Varanasi priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit will lead the main rituals, with PM Modi set to perform essential rites during the auspicious event.
