J&K: 2 soldiers martyred & two injured, terrorists in Kishtwar, encounter is still going on
Jammu Terror Attack: The latest encounter in Kishtwar district, of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday afternoon is still going on. According to information Encounter continues in Kathua and Kishtwar, two terrorists killed while 4 soldiers injured in the attack by terrorist. However two Indian soldiers have been martyred in this encounter.
Injured soldiers taken to Command Hospital for treatment
As by the media inputs Army officials said that one of the injured soldiers has been taken to the nearby Command Hospital for treatment while three soldiers are being treated there. According to information given by the Nagrota-based White Knight Corps, the encounter started at 3.30 pm by the Indian Army in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Police on the input of intelligence.
3 terrorists are hiding in the forest
While a police spokesperson said that firing took place between security forces and hidden terrorists in the Pingnal Dugadda Forest Area in the upper reaches of Naidgham village in Chhatru Police Station Area of Kishtwar district. Sources said that three terrorists are suspected to be hiding in the forests. More security forces have been sent to the encounter site.
First phase of voting in Kishtwar
Distract Kishtwar is important because voting is to be held here in the first phase on September 18. Earlier on Wednesday, security forces and police killed two terrorists in Khandra Top area of Basantgarh in Udhampur district.
Encounter between security forces and terrorists is going on
In the meanwhile four army personnel have been injured in this encounter. There was firing between the search teams of security forces and the hidden terrorists in the Pingnal Dugadda forest area in the upper reaches of Naidgham village under the jurisdiction of Chatro police station under the district. After which the soldiers have started a search operation to search for the terrorists.
