Singhvi Argued For Kejriwal Bail

appearing for CM Kejriwal, said that he has got interim bail thrice in the money laundering case related to the alleged scam and strict conditions have also been imposed for granting bail in cases under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Singhvi cited the regular bail granted by the trial court on June 20 as well as the interim bail orders of the Supreme Court passed on May 10 and July 12.

Beacuse OF pmla bail not Granted

He informed the bench that the Delhi High Court was "orally" stayed the trial court's June 20 order. The Singhvi said that when Kejriwal can granted bail despite stringent conditions imposed under the PMLA, he cannot be denied regular bail in the CBI case as the Prevention of Corruption Act does not have such stringent provisions as the anti-money laundering law Advocate Singhvi also said this, I hate saying this, but I have said this everywhere. and will say this repeatedly, that the court behavior in Delhi Chief Minister case was not true in excise policy case, he can be granted bail.
