The New Zealand Bharat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NZBCCI) officially launched today, marking a major milestone in enhancing economic collaboration between New Zealand and India. The grand event, held in Ahmedabad, was attended by key dignitaries including New Zealand's Deputy Prime Minister, Rt Hon Winston Peters, India’s High Commissioner, Her Excellency Neeta Bhushan, and NZBCCI Chairman, Mr. Mahesh Bindra. Also present were distinguished members of the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) and the NZBCCI Board of Directors.

Sudhanshu Mehta Takes Charge as Chairman of NZBCCI Bharat Chapter

A key moment of the launch event was the formal appointment of Mr. Sudhanshu Mehta as Chairman of NZBCCI's Bharat Chapter. With his extensive experience in cross-border economic relations and international business development, Mehta's leadership is set to drive NZBCCI’s mission to foster business opportunities between New Zealand and India. His focus will be on strengthening bilateral ties in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, education, and technology.

Key MoU Signing Between NZBCCI and GCCI

A key moment of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NZBCCI and the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI). Sudhanshu Mehta, representing the Bharat Chapter, led the MoU signing, which is set to boost trade, investment, and collaboration between New Zealand and India. This strategic agreement paves the way for joint efforts across multiple sectors, further deepening the partnership between the two countries.
