Atishi Oath Ceremony: The Aam Aadmi Party government is going to be formed in Delhi under the leadership of Atishi. While on 21 September, she may take her oath as Chief Minister of Delhi. Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has sent a letter to the President and the Home Ministry and proposed the date of 21 September 2024 for Atishi to be sworn in as CM.

Meanwhile, after Kejriwal's resignation, Aam Aadmi Party MLAs have elected Atishi as the leader of the legislative party. Though Atishi had written a letter to Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena requesting him to administer the oath.

Atishi can take oath as Chief Minister

As by the sources,  no date was proposed by Atishi for the swearing-in of the Chief Minister. Therefore, the LG has proposed the date of 21 September. Atishi said that at present the list of cabinet ministers will not be submitted. It means that Atishi will take oath alone, after the Ceremony the cabinet members will be decided.

2 names can be included in the cabinet

In the while discussions has already started regarding the faces will be included in Atishi's cabinet. At present two posts are vacant in the cabinet, and also no Dalit minister in the previous cabinet. In such a situation, it is also believed that a Dalit can also get a place. At the same time, Kejriwal's trusted Dilip Pandey can also get a place in the Atishi cabinet. The name of AAP's senior leader Somnath Bharti is moving ahead very fast regarding the upcoming Atishi cabinet.

Arvind Kejriwal will vacate government residence

After released from jail on bail in the liquor policy case, Arvind Kejriwal had announced his resignation from the post of CM. While Kejriwal and his cabinet members' resignations were sent to the President through the Lieutenant Governor on September 17. However now Kejriwal will vacate his government residence. Meanwhile AAP MP Sanjay Singh has expressed concern about Arvind Kejriwal's security.

Atishi may get Z Plus security

Delhi Police can provide 'Z' category security to Atishi. According to the top police officer, the police will also review the security of outgoing Chief Minister Kejriwal, as he has resigne. A police officer said, that as per the protocol, 'Z' category security is given to the Chief Minister of Delhi. Delhi Police deploys about 22 security personnel in a shift for the security of a person receiving 'Z' category security.
