Lion King fame actress Imani passes away, boyfriend suspected of murder

Imani Dia Smith, who played the role of young Nala in The Lion King, was stabbed to death at the age of 25.  Serious allegations have been leveled against her boyfriend in this incident that took place in New Jersey. It is being said that the boyfriend attacked Imani with a knife multiple times, leading to her death. She is famous for her role in The Lion King film, was stabbed to death. She was 25 years old. Imani played the role of young Nala in The Lion King. According to information received on America's emergency number 911 on Sunday, Imani's body had multiple stab wounds. This incident is said to have taken place on Sunday, December 21st. Her boyfriend, Jordan D. Jackson-Small, has been accused of Imani's murder.

Family left alone after the death of the child actress

Imani also has a 3-year-old son, who is now with his aunt after her death. She was the sole breadwinner for her family. After Imani's death, her parents and son have been left alone. Relatives have also started a fundraiser for them.

Boyfriend suspected of murder

Imani lived in her home in Edison, New Jersey. Police found her in an injured condition in this house. There were multiple stab wounds on her body. According to a report released on December 23 by the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, Imani was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, where doctors pronounced her dead. Authorities said an investigation into the incident was launched immediately.

Following an investigation, police arrested Imani's 35-year-old boyfriend, Jordan D. Jackson-Small. He has been charged with first-degree murder, second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and fourth-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Variety reports that Smith and Jackson-Small knew each other, so this was not a random act of violence.

The fundraiser was created to help Imani's parents, Monique Rans-Helper and Ronnie Helper. According to reports, the campaign had raised over $46,000 by Wednesday.
