Loksabha Election 2024: As the Lok Sabha Election 2024 draws closer, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to intensify the campaign efforts, particularly focusing on the southern region of India. Today, he will lead rallies in Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, aiming to garner support for National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates in the upcoming polls.

PM Modi in Kerala

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will commence the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Lok Sabha election campaign with a roadshow in Palakkad town, Kerala. The roadshow, scheduled to begin at 8:30 am from Kottamaidan Anchuvilakku, will proceed towards the Head Post Office in the town. Preceding the roadshow, a bike rally has been organized by the BJP in the town this evening.

This event in Palakkad follows PM Modi's recent address at a public meeting in Pathanamthitta town on March 15, where he rallied support for NDA candidates contesting in southern Kerala constituencies. During the gathering, PM Modi expressed confidence, stating, "The Lotus is going to bloom in Kerala" in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

PM Modi in Karnataka

In North Karnataka's Dharwad constituency, PM Modi will inaugurate the NDA's Lok Sabha campaign. He is slated to hold a public rally and engage with party workers. Additionally, PM Modi will address a public rally and interact with party workers from Dharwad, Belagavi, Haveri, and other areas of North Karnataka in Hubballi.

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, representing the Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency since 2004, is expected to receive a ticket for reelection.
If he secures the win, it would represent his fifth consecutive victory, thereby establishing a fresh record.

PM Modi in Tamil Nadu

Further expanding his campaign, the Prime Minister will address a public meeting in Salem, Tamil Nadu. Reports from ANI suggest that Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai and the PMK president will meet at PMK founder Ramadoss' house Tuesday morning for the seat-sharing agreement.

With the Election Commission announcing the schedule for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, polling is set to be conducted in seven phases across the nation from April 19 to June 1, with vote counting on June 4. The BJP, without a major alliance partner in Tamil Nadu, has been making concerted efforts in the state, as evidenced by PM Modi's five visits ahead of the elections.

The PMK's recent announcement of an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections further underscores the BJP's strategic moves in Tamil Nadu. Notably, Tamil Nadu will witness voting on all 39 Lok Sabha seats in Phase 1 on April 19.
