Manipur Violence: Internet services banned, due to violence till 15 September

Manipur Violence: The violence in Manipur is not stopping, since very long time the life of Manipur people are disturbed. While indefinite curfew has been imposed in both the districts of Imphal on today, after the violence broke out again in Manipur and protests in different parts of the state. Both the district administrations, Imphal East and Imphal West, issued curfew orders from 11 am today.

Internet services are closed

In view of law and order in the state the Internet services will remain closed Manipur. However this step is taken in view of violence in the district of the state, the services will remain closed September 15,  In the meanwhile Curfew also imposed in Imphal due to protest.

Controversy over Sunita Duggal statement

However  internet has has been shut down at different places in the state. while this all incident started by BJP  leader Sunita Duggal controversia statement in Ratia, Fatehabad. The people are protesting against her statement on MLA Laxman Napa his supporters burnt the effigy of Sunita Duggal.

Satement given in the public meeting against MLA Laxman Napa, In the meanwhile Laxman Napa supporters raised slogans during the protest and demanded an apology from Sunita Duggal. They alleged that Duggal's statement has tarnished the image of MLA Laxman Napa and hurt his social prestige.

What Sunita Duggal said

In a public meeting before nomination, Sunita Duggal had said in the presence of the Chief Minister that if she is made to win from Ratia, then no one will say that their MLA gambles, and drinks, she also said although  that Laxman Napa could not even win the sarpanch election before joining BJP, and became MLA because of BJP.

MLA Laxman Napa respond on her statement

He reacted on Sunita Duggal's statement, while MLA Laxman Napa said in the press conference that he will file a defamation case against Sunita Duggal. He said  the allegations made by Sunita Duggal is  baseless and said that he will not tolerate them. After this controversy, the political atmosphere in the area has heated.
