Martyr's Day: Sanand painted in the colour of patriotism in Veeranjali
A large number of people gathered at the Veeranjali program in Sanand. More than 100 artists made more than 30 thousand people immersed in patriotism.
The year 2007 marked the 17th year of the unprecedented patriotic program celebrated by Viranjali Committee and Pradip Singh Vaghela at Bakrana in Sanand. While the execution day of revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru is celebrated as Martyr's Day, Viranjali Samiti and Pradipsingh Vaghela have been trying to convey patriotism to the new generation in a different way for the last several years. Sairam Dave, Kirtidan Gadhvi and Alpa Patel sang patriotic songs and speeches in this program held at Eklingji Road, Sanand.
TV Actress Bhakti Rathore brought the revolutionary Durga Bhabhi to life on stage. When Gujarati film actor Dharmendra Gohil presented on stage what Chandrasekhar Azad must have thought when he shot himself at the end, the crowd erupted in cheers. Chants of Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata Ki Jai rang out across the street as RI Akash once again performed Bhagat Singh on the Veeranjali stage. Demolition group from Mumbai presented the story and pain of soldiers fighting on the border with stunts on patriotic songs. All the monologues performed on stage and new patriotic songs were written by Sairam Dave. The monologue was directed by Viral Rach.
While the music was by Rahul Manjaria and the choreography was by Ankur Pathan. The program organized by Veeranjali Committee was enjoyed by the people from Sanand and surrounding areas and got to know the life of revolutionaries in a new way. The committee expressed its heartfelt thanks to all those who were present and worked day and night to make this patriotic program a success.
